Pop Up Picture Day

In the midst of an abnormal school year, one thing should remain the same: School Pictures! Children and parents alike look forward to commemorating this new milestone with a photo. This year should be no exception!  

What is a Pop Up Picture Day?

A Pop Up Picture Day is an outdoor school portrait session that is much like having a photo taken traditionally at school. As usual, your child will come to have their portrait taken and you will have the option to order prints and digital files. The pricing is competitive to that of the traditional school portrait companies that come to your child’s school every year.

So, what are the differences? Here are just a few:​

  • Your child or children will be photographed outside rather than in front of a background and instead of studio lights we will use natural light.

  • Siblings have the opportunity to be photographed together.

  • You will not have to prepay for a photo that you won’t be able to see in advance.

  • You schedule to take your photos at the time that works for you and your family.

  • You will do everything online, so no writing a check or sending money in an envelop. You choose the images you want, whether that’s one or all the images in your online gallery. (That’s right you get multiple photos in your online gallery!)

Session Details

  • You can pick the session closest to you. Sessions are currently scheduled for the following dates and locations: 

    • October 3rd and 4th at Camden Park in Chapel Hill, NC

    • October 24th and 25th at the WRAL Azalea Garden in Raleigh, NC

    • November 7th and November 8th at Herndon Park in Durham, NC

  • You will pick a time slot, from the available, for your child or children that works for you.

  • Each session will be scheduled for 10 minutes.

  • Siblings will have the opportunity to have photos taken together as well as individual

  • All communication will be done with me via email.

  • A link to your gallery and an instructional video on how to use the gallery will be sent out within 10 days of the event.

  • You may order print packages, digital files, and a la carte items directly from your gallery to ship to you. Seamless and easy.

Cost
  • There is a small non-refundable booking fee of $10.

  • That $10 Booking fee automatically converts to a credit towards the purchase of digital files or print packages.
